Eligibility and Exam scores required to study in New Zealand

Academic year in New Zealand begins from February and lasts till November. With most intakes happening twice, once in February and another in July, we suggest students to start early to avoid last minute rush.

The eligibility criteria for New Zealand universities are similar to any other country. Your IELTS/PTE/TOEFL scores will play an important role for admissions. And the admissions are completely based on merit of the applicants. In certain courses like MBA, work experience might be necessary.

New Zealand International Doctoral Research Scholarships (NZIDRS)

NZIDRS is funded by the New Zealand government and are available to Indian students planning to pursue Ph.D in New Zealand. This scholarship covers university tuition fee and all associated student levies along with a living stipend of up to NZ$25,000, which completely tax-free and a health insurance coverage of up to NZ$600 annually for three years.

New Zealand Commonwealth Scholarships

As an international student, you will have to incur your education fee along with your day to day expenses and some miscellaneous ones. If my visa is rejected, do I get a refund from the University?

In case, your visa is rejected, most of the universities and colleges refund the tuition fee after deducting a nominal administrative charge. It is advisable to check out the refund policies of the particular universities to be sure beforehand and avoid losses. Similarly, refunding of the visa application fee must also be enquired beforehand to avoid unwanted expenses.

What to do if my visa is rejected?
